Parks & Recreation

- The Bradford Municipal Forest is a 584-acre forest owned by the Town of Bradford under management of the Water Board for its potential as a back-up water supply. Located in the towns of Fairlee and West Fairlee, this land has provided wildlife habitat and hunting, recreational and timber values.
- Wright's Mountain and Devil's Den comprise a 278-acre forest, with scenic overlooks, rare plants (including the maidenhair spleenwort fern and pale jewelweed), a two-room standup cave chamber and many well-marked trails.
- The Low-St. John Forest is a 79.3 acre forest on the east and west sides of I-91. The majority of the forest lies on Goshen Road, with year-round, unmarked trails and educational programs. Currently the forest is under siege of many invasive plants, including autumn olive, huckleberry, Japanese barberry, Norway maple and being managed for educational and wildlife purposes. There is no official access to the two parcels east of I-91, although it is a unique hardwood forest steeply sloped to the village.
